Classes

1. Bring your Child to Meditate!

A yoga/meditation class for children and their parents.

For children 5 to 10 years old
When: Thursdays from 4:00 to 4:55 p.m.
Fee: $10/month/family or $5/session
Instructor: Kati Berland (pronounced "kaw-tee")

Program:
  • Listening to music
  • Basic yoga
  • Meditation with chanting
  • Multi-sensory mindful games, using mostly objects from nature








2. Meditation for Tweens and Teens

For children 10 to 15 years old
When: Thursdays from 6:00 to 6:30 p.m.
Fee: $1/session
Instructor: Kati Berland (pronounced "kaw-tee")

Program:
  • Listening to music
  • Meditation with chanting
  • Multi-sensory mindful games, using mostly objects from nature







How do yoga and meditation help children?

First, children love doing yoga and meditation. They quickly experience the benefit of the quiet time that they spend while practicing yoga and meditation. They enjoy the comfort of calmness, the sense of serenity.

The most cherished benefits of yoga and meditation are that they teach children to focus and pay attention, and this improves their learning skills.

In our classes, as we practice a playful yoga, focus on our breathing, chant a few mantras, listen to beautiful music, and play multi-sensory games, we also help children achieve higher self-esteem, better health, and improved relationships with friends and family.
